As we reflect on 2025, we are grateful for your continued support of our mission. Looking forward, we’re excited to celebrate a special milestone in 2026: our 45th Anniversary!
For more than four decades, our association has brought our industry together through advocacy, education, safety initiatives, and collaboration. As we celebrate 45 years, we honor our past and look forward to what’s ahead.
In 2025, GNEMA:
- Welcomed 26 new members to our community.
- Advocated on on Tolling, Idling, FTA Charter Rule, Bus Parity, Bus Security Funding, Tariffs, and more.
- Held our first Driver Safety Competition.
- Awarded 2 Scholarship Recipients.
- Hosted 4 Educational Webinars.
- Hosted our Annual Driver Safety Meeting.
- Hosted BISC East for American Bus Association.
- Brought Members together at our Spring and Fall annual meetings.
- Expanded and welcomed new Directors to the Board.
- Organized 16 committee meetings (Finance, Membership, Legislative, Safety & Risk Control).
- Distributed over 150 emails, Member Alerts and newsletters to keep our membership informed on important topics.
In 2026, GNEMA will continue working hard:
- Advocating on behalf of our members with legislators and regulatory agencies.
- Partnering with enforcement agencies to develop and support safety initiatives that protect motorcoach passengers.
- Providing ongoing education through webinars, workshops, and association meetings.
- Communicating timely and relevant regulatory, compliance, safety, member, and industry information.
- Offering personalized assistance to members when needed.
- Recognizing and celebrating the excellence of our Motorcoach Professionals.
- Supporting higher education opportunities for future generations.
- Collaborating with national, state, and other regional associations on issues impacting all operators.
