More About Matt:
Matthew (Matt) Gray has dedicated his entire career to the motorcoach industry, bringing decades of hands-on experience and leadership to the family-owned King Gray Coach Lines. His passion for buses began early—he grew up around the business, influenced by his grandfather and uncle, and formally entered the industry right out of high school at just 18 years old.
Matt’s career path has given him a well-rounded perspective of the business from the ground up. He began in the maintenance shop as a mechanic, developing a deep understanding of fleet operations and safety. On weekends, he gained additional experience working in dispatch, ensuring trips ran smoothly and on time. When needed, he also stepped in to assist with sales, building customer relationships and learning the business side of the operation.
As his knowledge and skills grew, Matt transitioned into a full-time sales role, where his ability to connect with clients and deliver exceptional service contributed to the company’s growth. Over time, his responsibilities expanded to overseeing both sales and daily operations, giving him a comprehensive leadership role in guiding King Gray Coach Lines forward.
Today, as Co-owner and Vice President, Matt continues to drive innovation, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence within the company. His lifelong involvement in the industry, paired with his leadership and vision, reflects a strong commitment not only to King Gray Coach Lines but also to the broader motorcoach community.
Welcome Matt, and thank you for your volunteerism and service on behalf of our members!
